Privacy Policy

Last updated: February 23, 2026

1. Introduction

Lushbinary Inc. ("Lushbinary", "we", "us", or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit our website at lushbinary.com (the "Site").

2. Information We Collect

We may collect the following types of information:

  • Personal information you provide: When you fill out our contact form, we collect your first name, last name, email address, phone number, and any notes you include.
  • Usage data: We automatically collect information about how you interact with our Site, including pages visited, time spent, scroll depth, clicks, referral source, browser type, device type, and IP address.
  • Cookies and tracking technologies: We use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies to collect usage data. See our Cookie Policy for details.

3. Essential vs. Optional Tools

We categorize our tracking and analytics tools into two groups:

  • Essential tools (always active): These tools are necessary for us to understand basic site functionality, detect issues, and maintain the quality of our service. They are active regardless of your cookie consent choice, including if you select "Keep Essential Only" or "Decline All". You cannot opt out of essential tools.
    • Hotjar is classified as an essential tool. It provides behavior analytics (heatmaps, session recordings) that we rely on to identify usability issues and ensure the Site works correctly for all visitors. Because it is essential to our ability to maintain and improve the Site, Hotjar is always enabled. Learn more at Hotjar's Privacy Policy.
  • Optional tools (consent-based): These tools are only active when you click "Accept All" in our cookie consent banner. If you choose "Keep Essential Only" or "Decline All", these tools are either restricted or disabled entirely.

4. Analytics and Tracking Tools

We use the following third-party analytics services:

  • Hotjar (Essential, always active): Behavior analytics platform providing heatmaps and session recordings. Hotjar is active for all visitors regardless of cookie preference. Learn more at Hotjar's Privacy Policy.
  • Mixpanel (Optional): Product analytics platform that tracks page views, button clicks, form interactions, scroll depth, and navigation patterns.
    • When you select Accept All: Mixpanel runs with full persistence, storing a unique identifier in your browser's local storage to enable cross-session analytics.
    • When you select Keep Essential Only: Mixpanel runs in session-only mode (disable_persistence: true). No cookies or local storage are written, and no cross-session tracking occurs.
    • When you select Decline All: Mixpanel is not initialized.
Learn more at Mixpanel's Privacy Policy.
  • Google Analytics 4 (GA4) (Optional, Consent Mode): We use GA4 with Google's Consent Mode (v2). When you have not accepted optional cookies, GA4 operates in a restricted "denied" state. analytics_storage and ad_storage are set to denied, meaning GA4 does not write cookies or collect identifiable data. When you accept all cookies, GA4 operates in "granted" state with full measurement. Learn more at Google's Privacy Policy.
  • Google Tag Manager: Tag management system used to deploy and manage tracking scripts. Operates in accordance with the GA4 Consent Mode state described above.

5. Your Cookie Choices

Our cookie consent banner gives you three options:

  • Accept All: All analytics tools are enabled with full functionality, including persistent identifiers.
  • Keep Essential Only: Only essential tools (Hotjar) run with full functionality. Mixpanel runs in session-only mode without persistence. GA4 operates in Consent Mode with analytics_storage denied.
  • Decline All: Only essential tools (Hotjar) remain active. All optional analytics are disabled. GA4 operates in Consent Mode with all storage denied.

You can change your preference at any time by clearing your browser's local storage for this site, which will cause the consent banner to reappear on your next visit.
